- Seeking a Systems Engineer/Solutions Architect 1 able to work with a dynamic team of system engineers and administrators responsible for design decisions, implementation, operations & maintenance, and cybersecurity for large complex resilient hardware and virtualized infrastructure to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements
- Support diagnosis and resolving complex performance, availability, and information assurance issues using systems engineering, cybersecurity, and computer science skills and expertise
- Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to: - Assist with the analysis, evaluation, engineering, and implementation of system improvements, automation, optimization, and deployments
- Assist with analysis, design development, testing, and implementation of new solutions or changes to infrastructure environments including physical/logical drawings, engineering design plans, implementation plans, transition plans, test plans, and failover plans
- Support execution of security updates to hardware and software to ensure the security posture across all systems implemented and managed
- Support research, prototyping, and developing emerging technologies by working closely with industry partners and other engineers to implement the latest and bestinbread capabilities to meet the customers emerging needs
- U.S
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or a Related Engineering Discipline or Information Technology degree with 0-2 years experience
- Experience eliciting requirements, conducting research, designing, testing, and implementing hardware and software solutions for data center and virtual infrastructure technologies
- Experience with cybersecurity and automation concepts
- Experience with the engineering systems development lifecycle
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level-II requirements (CompTIA Sec+, etc.)
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills with the ability and experience communicating with customers at various levels
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
- Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio Skills is a plus
- Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
