    Benefits to you

    • We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees, including mental health coverage.
    • The hourly equivalent for this position is $ $49.85.

    Position Highlights

    We are hiring a Business Analyst (Analyst 2) at the in Eugene, Oregon.

    In this role...

    You will assist management with administrative functions including purchasing, accounts payable, running reports, and projects.

    You will review the court's data using online dashboards and queries and develop reports to monitor data entry consistency. In doing your work, you will use dashboards to organize data and provide reports to management for court performance reporting.

    Additionally, you will manage court projects and coordinate with OJD's central administrator's office for procurement. This will include communicating with court staff, tracking and making approved purchases, and analyzing use. You will also manage accounts payable and judicial travel expenditure and reimbursement.

    Lastly, you will have the opportunity to serve as committee staff, managing meeting minutes and agendas, including any follow up on action items.

    Your work will help ensure court compliance with OJD and statutory standards for case management and strengthen the intersection between statewide business processes and local court data quality.

    Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business, court administration, public administration, or a related field.

    AND

    At least 2 years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities requirements listed for the position.

    OR

    Any combination of equivalent to 6 years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

    • The ability to use independent judgment and discretion in performing work duties.
    • A level of specialized knowledge in the field of work with some authority for independent decision-making.
    • In-depth work requirements, such as data gathering, analysis and interpretation.

    • Proficiency using a computer to manage data, perform research and analysis, and present findings to management or a group.

    Working Conditions

    • This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
    • Occasional early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required for meetings or to meet deadlines.
    • Occasional in-state and overnight travel is required, including possible travel in inclement weather.
    • Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
    • Occasional phone and in-person contact with people who may be frustrated or angry and facing challenging life circumstances, highly stressful situations, or trauma.
    • Long periods of sitting or standing at a computer.
    • Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
