Job Description

As a Security Guard - Hospital Rover Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will support access points, respond to concerns, document activities, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request assistance from appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, waiting areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter prohibited activity.

Monitor access points and visitor flow by observing for authorized entry, checking identification and/or credentials when required by post orders, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.

Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic logs, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital: Vaccines site.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
