- Responsible for ensuring trucks are both offloaded and loaded properly. Tie in paper flow and physical placement of product from receiving to placement and coordinating with staff and the departments involved.
- Provides assistance to the Unit Manager to include being responsible for all incoming, returned and finished manufactured goods in warehouse, freeze and cooler locations.
- Ensures all shipments are shipped out both accurately and timely.
- Prepares finish stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating loading, and securing products.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or storage area.
- Conducts physical product inventories and sends to appropriate persons.
- Keeps all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance. Inform/elevates to management any issues.
- Assists with departmental housekeeping.
- Completes and maintains paperwork and records as required.
- Conducts special projects as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by manager.
- Electric Pallet Jack Experience - required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, 10 key, etc.)
- Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of using general office equipment
- Forklift Experience - preferred
- Ability to stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to see, stand, reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger/handle/feel
- Weightlifting/Exertion: Up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Work near moving mechanical equipment
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), and extreme heat (non-weather)
- Exposure to moderate noise
