- Assist traders with all aspects of the taxable and tax-exempt trading process, including identifying trading needs, building trade allocations, and executing trades
- Utilize trading and portfolio management systems to monitor account positioning across various strategies; recommend trading actions to ensure adherence to strategy and risk targets
- Communicate directly with broker/dealer counterparties as well as utilize various electronic trading platforms to execute trades
- Ensure trade orders and allocations are properly entered into the firm's order management system
- Manage the selling process for clients requesting cash withdrawals from their portfolio
- Assist in the new account and strategy transition process
- Assist with various scalability initiatives across the platform
- Solid understanding of fixed income securities and markets
- Experience programming in Python and VBA is a plus
- Superb analytical skills
- Organized and efficient
- Must be adept at balancing & prioritizing trading needs in a fast-paced work environment
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or CFA Charter or actively working towards CFA Charter

Invesco is seeking a Junior Fixed Income Trader to join the Separately Managed Accounts Team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Investment Team with the primary responsibility of trade execution across a variety of investment grade taxable and tax-exempt fixed income strategies. The candidate must be capable of working closely with other members of the trading team to identify, prioritize and execute trades.
