    • You will never see the same day twice This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and administrating ground school and simulator training for all new hire, upgrade, and transitional pilots. Along with maintaining currency requirements for all pilots, instructors, and management personnel.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the pilot contract and Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Instrumental in the development of Training Schedulers by providing training and coaching, as well as employee evaluations.
    • Improve and implement training scheduling plans to support the overall staffing plan in the most cost-effective manner, optimizing both instructor pilots and simulator resources.
    What you'll do
    • Supervise a team of 4-6 individuals responsible for building and updating schedules for student pilots, current pilots, and instructors.
    • Develop, coordinate, and implement training scheduling plans for pilots, simulators, and pilot instructors in the most cost-effective manner.
    • React to deviations to the training plan and develop cost effective alternatives, while maintaining a focus on training completions.
    • Coordinate with appropriate Federal Aviation Administration personnel to conduct required simulator observations and training and simulator training.
    • Manage the scheduling of initial training, recurrent training, initial operating experiences, and efficiently utilize resources to help mitigate the impact to line operations.
    • Interact with other departments within the Crew Resources Team including but not limited to Manpower planning and Crew Scheduling, ensuring all strategies are communicated to responsible parties.
    • Monitor and fully administers Line Check Pilot schedules and line pilot schedules ensuring adequate coverage.
    • Update SharePoint and other software platforms that include but are not limited to Sabre Crew Class, Sabre Crew Trac, and Sabre Crew Qualifier.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and Holidays included.
    • Any additional tasks designated by the management team

    Requirements

    Minimum QualificationsEducation Prior Job Experience
    • Associates Degree or four years of operational experience.
    • The ability to maximize the programs within Microsoft Office Experience.
    • Detailed knowledge of contractual work rules and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
    • Ability to be detail oriented and effectively manage shifting priorities.
    • Ownerships responsible and accountable for all functional obligations.
    • Strong computer skills. * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United Sates for any employer without sponsorship.
    • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
    • Excellent reliability and punctuality.
