    Description

    Summary



    This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

    It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-J6 Endpoint and Global Services Center .



    Duties

    • Responsible for the design, development, integration and testing of network and telecommunications capabilities.
    • Manage the data center installation, to include the service node's network equipment and infrastructure, for the Joint Service Provider (JPH), to include the Suffolk Complex.
    • Review and prepare technical reports, messages and command correspondence relating to network/systems processes and procedures.
    • Lead integrated teams to assess effectiveness of system implementation. Identity deficiencies and enhancements and management of network communications systems and perform actions to maintain operational capability and network posture.
