    This HCU RN position supports a 31-bed intermediate care unit with a strong cardiac focus. The unit manages open heart surgical patients, arrhythmias, chest pain, heart failure, acute MI, pacemakers, ablations, TAVRs, cardiac caths, and additional medical cases including sepsis, respiratory failure, and stroke. Night shift ratios typically range from 1:4–5. Strong cardiac experience is required. ICU RNs may be considered if comfortable with the patient ratio and cardiac population. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Floating to affiliated facilities may occur as needed.

    Requirements:
    Minimum 1 year of cardiac experience and 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required in a short-term acute care hospital. At least one completed travel assignment preferred. Active WI or Compact RN license required. AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required at submission. Recent Epic experience within the past 12 months required. Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
