Electrical Engineer (Drilling Rigs)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer, proficient with Power Systems, ideally with a background in drilling rigs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• development of electrical system design for new rig construction
• power system distribution
• on-site supervision for electrical-related activities in field or yard settings
• design prototyping, including field implementation and testing, to validate the functionality and performance of electrical systems
• compliance with regulatory codes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technical and safety standards
• of PLC's and PLC programming, instrumentation, control systems, and automation, desirable, preferably Alan Bradley, Rockwell, and Bedford.

Qualifications:

• BSEE degree (required)
• years of experience within the drilling industry
• with designing innovated design solutions for both large scale projects and minor system enhancements, as well as being adept at trouble shooting existing systems both remotely and on-site
• of conducting electrical engineering calculations to optimize system performance and reliability
