- Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients in an on-site setting and a PRIME clinic.
- Maintains medical supplies inventory, notifies manager when supplines need to be ordered, and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
- Verifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit at a on-site setting and at a PRIME clinic if needed.
- Prepares clients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG's, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary.
- Assist in injury care when at a PRIME clinic.
- Perform phlebotomy service and give injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records within our electronic system.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calibration checks.
- Improves job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Protects the practice by adhering to professional standards. Updating and filing medical records according to facilities policies/procedures, state, federal/guidelines/regulations/laws.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership of all performed duties while providing value to the organization.
- Must have the ability to take on-call on a rotating basis and provide services on-site after hours.
- Responsible for setting up and breaking down the on-site
- Packing supplies for the scheduled on-site
- May be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must be able to work at various on-site locations and travel to out of state locations
