- Provides assistance with publishing and printing projects and services presented by a range of customer agencies.
- Performs the basic functions necessary to service a limited range of printing and contract requirements with the assistance of higher graded specialist or supervisor.
- Conducts periodic planning meetings and analyzes requirements with on-the-job training.
- Serves as a junior-level service contact for Federal agency customers to provide a wide range of consultative and procurement services.
- Establishes the appropriate quality levels to be included in contracts; consider the end use of the products, condition of materials furnished to the printer, paper stocks, inks to be used, and costs associated with the different quality levels.
- Monitors production to ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality of end product.
- Assists higher graded specialists with contract administration tasks such as contract formation, evaluation of offers for proposed award, evaluation of vendor resources and ability to perform contract requirements.
- Serves as a point of contact in the office on a predetermined technical aspects of satisfying customer requirements.
