Job DescriptionSalary: $30-38 Hour

Summary

Join an established and thriving private practice on the Eastside of Spartanburg. Carolina Smiles is seeking an experienced, full-time dental assistant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist dentists in the clinical treatment of patients
Assist in crown procedures, including making temporary crown
Take necessary x-rays, impressions, etc
Sterilize instruments, prepare exam rooms and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
Discuss treatment plans with patients in a clear, understandable manner
Educate patients about oral health and treatment
Welcoming and helpful attitude to patients and team members
Complete chart review and detailed chart notes for each patient
Must be available to work:
- Monday-Thursday – 7:30-5:30pm
- Fridays (as needed) – 7:30-12:30pm

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

Registered Dental Assistant License or Certified Dental Assistant
X-Ray Certification
Experience working as a dental assistant (1-2 years)

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

Nitrous Oxide Certification
Experience with Patterson's Eaglesoft system
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Prioritize patient rapport and excellent customer service
Strong communication skills
