The College of Business Administration (CoBA) at California State University seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member to join its Finance Department.The successful candidate should possess expertise in investment corporate finance and/or banking at the assistant professor rank.
This position is contingent upon funding and has an anticipated start date for Fall 2026Responsibilities
- A Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment ABD applicants will be considered provided the Ph.D. is conferred by the hire date Applicants with a Ph.D. in Economics may also be considered if their teaching and research specialization is in FinTech or closely related financial applications Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels Evidence of active engagement in scholarly research leading to publications in reputable academic journals
