    **Description**

    Position Purpose: The CILA Team Leader is responsible for the management and daily supervision of an adult residential apartment building, which provides services for individuals with a persistent mental illness. This position will provide and monitor continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of mental health treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    Masters degree or RN and be a QMHP

    Minimum one year of mental health experience

    A valid drivers license and automobile insurance are required.

    Excellent organizational skill and computer skills

    Self-starter with ability to work independently and alone.

    Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance

    **Essential Responsibilities:**

    Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.

    Provide On-call coverage on a rotating basis

    Available 24 hours a day in case of emergencies (i.e. provide support to residential specialist staff, clinical emergencies, and environmental care problems and ensure site coverage).

    Ability to motivate and problem solve with staff regarding effective team behavior and personal performance.

    Provide leadership by demonstrating self-motivation, seeking improved performance, problem solving while meeting the complex needs of staff and consumers.

    Participate as part of the CRIS management team providing supports to all CRIS and other departmental staff.

    Ensure- All State Regulations and Rosecrance Policy and Procedures are maintained. Complete all necessary monthly and quarterly reports by appropriate time lines.

    Understanding of how to supervise a team in a social service setting using available data (CIS, Fidelity Scale, P&P, etc) to monitor effective team behavior and compliance with standards.

    Ability to work with persons from diverse backgrounds and personalities

    Use effective crisis intervention approaches to reduce the impact of increased symptoms on the client and their care taker.

    Skills to adapt verbal and written communication to the language style of the client and their family

    Ability to adequately (re)assess diagnosis, functional limitations and develop plan for reducing these limitations. Use a holistic approach for recovery

    Knowledge about the role of the family in treatment and rehabilitation and being able to provide on-going education and supports to the family.

    Ability to coordinate services from a variety of community resources

    Utilize a variety of treatment concepts, evidence based practices and service modalities when providing care.

    Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.

    Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.

    Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance

    Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned by the Director of Housing
