    Description


    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer on the Product & Technology (P&T) team you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of our Salesforce solutions and integrations.

    In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications.

    To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead collaborative discussions as a technical leader within the Product & Technology team
    • Partner with business leaders to define the systems architecture strategy to support rapid growth and scaling of our GTM teams including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Operations
    • Provide expertise and guidance in Salesforce best practices, development methodologies, and code quality standards
    • Ability to work cross functionally across Product & Technology, GTM, and Operations to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and lead major change efforts requiring cross functional leadership collaboration and conflict
    • Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization
    • Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends, and proactively recommend solutions and enhancements
    • Coordinate and manage Salesforce release updates, including sandbox management, change sets, and deployment activities
    • Perform code reviews to identify and address potential issues, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the Salesforce platform
    • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions
    • Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
    • Oversee data quality standards to ensure consistency and reliability across all platforms
    • Ensure proper documentation (i. e. architecture diagrams) of process flows between systems is maintained and implement/maintain connections between Salesforce and other business systems
    • Able to see the big picture while also being hands-on and in the details
    • Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and participation in Salesforce user groups and events

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Salesforce certifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a similar position
    * 5+ years as a Salesforce Developer


    • Strong experience working with Workato
    • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, and Platform Application Builder
    • Strong knowledge in Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
    • Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
    • Experience with Salesforce. com and supporting integrations
    • Experience with Salesforce APIs, web services, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Bulk API, etc.).
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data modeling concepts.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide efficient solutions
    • Experience in working across a geographically disbursed / remote organization
    • Experience with large scale transformation/modernization programs
    • Strong mentoring skills as a senior technical leader for less experienced team members
    • Ability to understand and support internal and external team members on the delivery and execution of complex projects
