- Assist the Projects Engineer with coordination between DSAEs and local agencies on the negotiation of jurisdictional transfers. Assist with providing any technical, historical, and legislative knowledge regarding jurisdictional transfers.
- Project management and assist with the project coordination, research and sharing of technical information related to special projects led or co-led by State Aid Operation.

Description
This is position within the State Aid for Local Transportation Division will be part of a team that delivers the local, state aid, state transportation, and federal programs to counties, cities, and townships statewide. This position acts as a technical liaison and resource to leadership and local agencies in the State Aid for Local Transportation group. This position will provide support to the Jurisdictional Transfer Program.
Duties include:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure as a professional civil engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). If obtaining licensure through comity (reciprocity), a practice pending letter from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.
Experience with highway engineering practices and principles.
