Job summary
The Graduate Nurse Resident demonstrates excellent customer service skills in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of MyMichigan Health.This individual works under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse preceptor in a collaborative learning environment to successfully transition into clinical practice.
The Graduate Nurse Residency Program is an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) accredited RN Residency program for new graduate nurses.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care under the direction of the RN mentor using the Nursing Process.
- Prioritizes/organizes delegated patient care assignments.
