Job Description

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy manufacturing and industrial location.

You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, verify authorized access, and document observations clearly.

Working with a caring, people-first team, you will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to issues with integrity, and bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to daily operations.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including production floors, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes, watching for unusual activity and potential hazards.

Control access points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and vendor entry and/or exit, and helping to enforce site rules related to restricted areas and shipment activity.

Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant observations to onsite contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
