- Overseeing and managing the translational strategy for hematological malignancies programs in Oncology
- Planning and executing the discovery and validation of predictive, prognostic, safety, and disease biomarkers
- Managing a Translational Research budget to support biomarker studies and sample analysis
- Establishing collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to drive Translational Research strategies in Clinical trials
- Leading collaborations and projects with key figures in the hematological malignancies field
- Supervising a team of staff, including TR leaders and laboratory technicians
- Regularly reporting biomarker data to Oncology senior management
- Ensuring the integrity of biomarker sections in Clinical protocols and other key documents
- Overseeing data quality and project timelines for deliverables
- Handling resource planning for proposed projects

Johnson & Johnson is currently looking for a Senior Director-Oncology Translational Research specializing in Multiple Myeloma. This position can be based in Spring House, PA; Boston, MA; Raritan, NJ; Brisbane, CA, or Remote (to be decided case by case).
The Senior Scientific Director will play a key role in the Oncology Translational Research team, focusing on clinical biomarker and translational medicine strategies for compounds under development in the Oncology pipelines. Additionally, the Translational Research group delves into disease biology for the targeted indications within the Oncology TA.
