Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology night shift position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact license and ONC chemo certification.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital Med/Surg Oncology unit
• Caring for oncology and medical-surgical patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and caring for oncology inpatients
• Must adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety
• Travelers are not eligible if they have been a recent employee at the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet all experience requirements

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• A minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Oncology experience
• Current ONC chemotherapy certification required for oncology nurses
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference is required for Colorado positions
