Evolver Federal is looking for a Software Architect to support a government client on a current contract.

This is a remote position

Responsibilities

• Reviews existing documents and other artifacts and analyzes them to determine gaps in information, technology, and services.
• Conducts interviews with DCMA persons support As-Is baseline work.
• Conducts in-dept research of software and systems to sport the statement of work.
• Develops design documents and other artifacts in accordance with the statement of work to fulfill the As-Is baseline work and performance models.
• Applies DODAF standards to existing and new documents and artifacts to standardize the baseline.
• Documents all applicable actions, processes and functions.
• Provides architectural and otherwise technical expert support to technical meetings and as required to support the statement of work and DCMA mission.
• Coordinates with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develops the highest-level requirements and system behaviors, outlines systems acceptance approaches.
• Develops a technical upgrade roadmap to support future work.
• Provides recommendations to DCMA on best path forward and evolution planning.
• Provides continuity of design vision during the SOA design process as finer grained/lower-level business services are defined, and the business objects/data are elaborated. Mentors less senior SOA personnel in SOA design approaches.
• Recognizes, interprets, and diagrams enterprise architecture with complex dependencies and integration.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a current Active DOD Secret clearance.
• 5 years of experience creating architecture diagrams
• 5 years of experience applying DODAF standards to existing, new documents and artifacts to standardize a baseline.
• 5 years of experience creating OV-1, OV-2, SV-1 or similar models
• 5 years of experience in legacy systems application architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with large enterprise-wide systems architecture and design
• 8 years of experience creating architecture diagrams
• 8 years of experience applying DODAF standards to existing, new documents and artifacts to standardize a baseline.
• 8 years of experience creating OV-1, OV-2, SV-1 or similar models
• 8 years of experience in legacy systems application architecture
