Job Title: Substitute Bus Driver

The Substitute Bus Driver provides clean, safe, and reliable transportation to ensure that students enjoy the full advantage of school district programs and activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide clean, safe, and reliable transportation to students.
2. Ensure all activities conform to State school transportation guidelines.
3. Communicate effectively with members of the school district and community.
4. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Annual DOT Physical form on file in the central office.
3. Valid CDL license with required endorsements.
4. Meet all State requirements for Bus Drivers.
5. Successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
6. One year experience in driving a motor vehicle.
7. Desire to continue career improvement.

Physical Requirements:

1. Prolonged sitting or standing.
2. Physical exertion to move heavy objects.
3. Climbing and balancing.
4. Driving skills, including ability to operate vehicle at night.

Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year.
