Description

Responsible for actively participating in patient care during the pre-operative, operative and post-operative phases of care. First assist in the operating room, for CABG, including endovascular vein harvest, Cardiac Valve and Thoracic Surgery.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment of three surgeons and APPs staff consisting of PA-Cs, CRNP and RNs along with hospital staff.

CV surgery and EVH experience preferred but not required. EVH system Hemopro2

Education

Minimum:
Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education

Preferred:

Registration/Certification/Licensure:

Current PA Physician Assistant license, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Healthcare Provider CPR, and Act 33/73 clearances.

Individual must meet the credentialing requirements of the Medical Staff Office.
