- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary electronics design team to develop new product architecture. For example:Display systemsHuman interface componentsPower distributionBattery
- Focus on efficient power distributions and develop power-supply techniques to optimize for battery-powered efficiency.
- Work with battery vendors and engineers to specify/prototype/build future technology battery components for our cameras.
- Manage prototype CM build and validation work during development.
- BSEE
- 5+ years of experience in electronics design
- Solid grounding and proven experience in power conversion, distribution, optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Adaptable to collaborate in all aspects of a project. Specification, design, bring-up, transition to production, support etc.
- Ability to quickly turn-around prototypes to prove own designs.
- Ability to write rudimentary firmware to support own designs.
- Experience of working with semiconductor manufacturers to maintain relationships. Also, to select, design-in and prove design for complex components.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills - able to condense and describe investigations and results concisely and accurately.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with design of consumer products
- Experience with battery-powered products
