    Fives Group is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Support Support production of machine build by participating in electrical panel building, wire up, and integration of EM subassemblies onto machine frames Configure, modify, install and update PLC programs onto machines Install and customize HMI programs Create and program PLC driven test platforms and fixtures as required for module build Provide manufacturing perspective to Controls Design process Field Support and

    Customer Care:

    Provide support for resolution of customer problems with electrical and controls portion sof equipm,ent Thoroughly and accurately document each request for assistance in an incident report database, collect photo and video where possible to help identify issues Work closely with internal and external customers, dispensing information and instruction as required to resolve all issues within target timelines Escalate issues exceeding customer capability for resolution or exceeding target resolution times to Field Service Manager or Product Support Manager as appropriate Produce technical documents and procedures to improve Field Service team capability to resolve customer issues Required Experience and Skills At least 5 years experience programming PLCs and HMIs using RSLogix 5000 and RSLogix 500 with an emphasis on efficient and effective code design and commenting At least 5 years experience designing, building and wiring up equipment control panels and sub panels At least 5 years experience building and integrating complex EM machinery incorporating AC and servo drives, pneumatics and PLC controls, preferably in a federally regulated production environment Direct experience supporting service teams and end users of electromechanical industrial equipment through remote means Experience in the creation and editing of technical documentation High attention to detail Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical/pneumatic schematics Strong communication and interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy to navigate difficult customer and team interactions Routine use of MS Office, ERP systems and incident database ticket entry Benefits:Hired employees will receive great benefits along with an extremely competitive compensation package.
