Job DescriptionResponsible for providing professional-level project management support to the information technology department. Manages all phases of technology-related projects, working with staff, contractors, and consultants.
Applies cross-functional project management methods and techniques, synthesizes information, builds consensus among cross-functional teams, and establishes appropriate scope and process to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the project.
Minimum Base Pay:$59, All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Participates in and manages all phases of a project from concept to system implementation and user training. Monitors various projects to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance.
Controls and monitors projects. Oversees administrative details that may include consultant document reviews, contractor billings, building project budgets, consultant and technology contracts.
Interacts with vendors, contractors, and other departments to convey technical project requirements and verify specifications.
Acts as a liaison to a wide variety of college personnel and as a facilitator of project(s) requiring people who do not directly report to you but who provide support to the goals and objectives of your organization.
Develops project plans, goals, and budgets; identifies resources needed, develops schedules and methods for measuring results.
Plans and oversees the preparations and dissemination of project communications. Communicates with top-level administrators, project sponsors, functional area managers and consultants regarding status of specific projects.
Produces related project reports as needed. Prepares status and final reports for funding agencies and industry.
Travels to meetings, between College locations, and for other purposes.
Coordinates and communicates with counterparts at other academic institutions for exchange of work-related information.
Manages process for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system's regularly scheduled releases and enhancements.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Four years of related experience
Knowledge of:
Contract process, documents, and preparation
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Programming logic
Skilled in:
Project management design and analysis
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Collect, organize, analyze, and present information in a meaningful manner
