    Description
    RMA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team at our Princeton location.

    This individual will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing treatment, education, and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey.

    The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.


    Responsibilities:


    Contribute to providers' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement provider directivesImplement patient diagnostic and clinical treatment plans in accordance with the patient's identified needs and treatment goalsServe as liaison between provider, patient, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services.

    Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies; Optimize the patient experience.

    Provide care for assigned patients following RMA protocols and standard procedures; apply appropriate workflows; follow charting processes; maintain performance benchmarksEstablish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concernsProvide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey.

    Set appropriate expectations, educate the patient/couple on available testing and treatments options and RMA processes. Provide supplemental educational resources as appropriate through the Patient Education Hub and other available platforms.
    Follow up on and communicate laboratory values and semen analysis, embryology and genetic results to patients.
    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR system. Ensure documentation meets current legal standards and polices.
    Participate in the orientation of new personnel. Precept and mentor peers. Promote collaborative teamwork. Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally.
    Adapt to changing patient or organizational priorities. Demonstrate ability and willingness to self-motivate, prioritize and change processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

    Demonstrate skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures, as necessary for the care and safety of the patient.

    Assume accountability for quality of care provided.
    Demonstrate ability to manage conflict, stress and multiple simultaneous work demands in an effective and professional manner.
    Continually seek new knowledge and learning pertinent to the treatment of the fertility patient.
    Assist physician with in-office procedures as neededRequirements:BSN Degree or active RN license without limitations - requiredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office - requiredFlexibility to work weekdays with weekends and rotational holidays - requiredExcellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills to manage sensitive patient situation properly - required2-3 years' experience as an RN - highly preferredPrior experience in women's healthcare -preferredBCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferredHigh energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic - requiredElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - preferred
