    **FPT Cleveland** an affiliate of Ferrous Processing and Trading has an opening for a **Forklift Operator** at its location in **Cleveland, OH**.

    **Position Overview:**

    Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered forks to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars.

    **Typical Duties will include:**

    Starting and operating the forklift to load and unload materials throughout the yard.

    Performs routine maintenance on forklift such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning it.

    Power wash as necessary.

    Drive forklift to yard work sites to pick up and dump materials.

    Keep work areas clean and safe for all employees, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

    Clean and clear debris from the yard to provide safe mobility throughout the yard.

    Other duties as assigned.

    **Minimum Qualifications include:**

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    Previous experience preferred.

    Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process.
