    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the daily operations of Quality Control inspectors, including scheduling, task prioritization, and issue resolution.
    • Ensure timely completion of all quality-related tasks and collaborate with the Production Planner to expedite rush orders and resolve quality concerns.
    • Conduct training and ensure the professional development of the quality team.
    • Monitor and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs), including weekly reviews and verifications.
    • Prepare and present Quality Assurance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings.
    • Participate in regular staff meetings led by the CEO to discuss Reviews, Actions, Issues, and Learnings (RAILS) and other KPIs.
    • Develop and manage the audit schedule for ISO 9001 surveillance audits, assigning responsibilities as necessary.
    • Oversee layered audits and ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, and ITAR standards, including record-keeping and reporting.
    • Manage the use of high QA SPC software, tracking CPK indices and relevant statistical data.
    • Uphold 6S principles within the Quality Control lab and ensure all gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated within required timelines.
    • Verify time sheets for payroll processing using the Epicor system.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven leadership experience in a quality management role within the automotive or aerospace industry.
    • Deep understanding of quality control procedures, reporting, compliance standards (ISO, AS9100, ITAR), and manufacturing processes.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and adhere to customer specifications and industry standards.
    • Proficiency in using various measuring instruments such as ID/OD micrometers, calipers, snap gauges, bore gauges, both manual and CNC CMMs, Hoffler gear inspection machines, dial indicators, and tooth veneers.
