    The candidate will have diverse duties, including management, customer service, grounds maintenance, and supervising the boating program.

    Coordinates the activities of assigned NAF segments such as housekeeping and custodial workers and supervisors for Recreation Lodging and TDY Lodging.

    May resolve complaints or serve as the Hospitality Manager in the Manager's absence.
    Supervises staff functions assigned, including reviewing, and approving actions of subordinate supervisors.

    Responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the MWR Marathon Cottages and RV facilities to include maintaining fiscal accountability of funds and required documents, ensure a safe and healthy environment for guest, cottage cleanliness, identifying and re-ordering stock items as needed and recreational boating program.

    Provides quality customer service in a professional manner when conducting business via the phone, computer or in person.
    Is responsible for maintaining the reservation system and its web page.

    Conducts customer check ins and outs, provides guests with all required documents, advises guests all rules and proper use of MWR facilities along with check out procedures.

    Is responsible for the housekeeping of the cottages and conducts these duties to ensure their cleanliness is maintained at the highest standards.

    Maintains the office and other workspaces such as the supply and linen closets and work shed to the same standards.

    Is responsible for the boating program, checks out boats to customers ensuring they meet the requirements, issues life jackets and all other safter gear, does a complete check out with each customer, ensure float plans are in order and all rules and emergency procedures has been explained.

    Is responsible for the cleaning of the boats and ensuring the engines are properly flushed. Prepares boats for incoming storms and hurricanes.
    Is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facilities. May be required to conduct self-help projects that include but not limited to painting, carpentry, plumbing, and screening. When projects are beyond self-help, submit request for work to the MWR Director for approval of contracted services.
    Landscaping and grounds maintenance of the MWR facility is the responsibility and duties of the lodge hosts.

    Coordinates laundry service with local vendor ensuring all items are picked up and returned on time, maintaining proper stock levels at all times.

    Approves all vendor payments and properly accounts for transactions in accounting system.
    Receives and documents customer payments and refunds by CC, Check or Cash. Is responsible for day-to-day operations purchases of supplies and services using MWR funds. Must be aware of facility expenses and revenues to meet the USCG Standards for a CAT C MWR operation.
    Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of those using the MWR facilities.

    Conducts monthly safety inspections and maintains logs in accordance with IAW COMSISNT 1710.Ensures all required paperwork and documentation are completed and submitted in a timely manner such as daily activity reports, inventories, time and attendance, purchase orders, financial reports, and others as needed.

    Reads and responds to all emails and phone calls prior to shift end but not later than 24 hours after receiving.

    Works with and shows upmost respect to Active Duty and civilian personnel, Light House Preservation Society, volunteers, contractors, Hillsboro Beach Club staff, and all visiting guests.

    Smoking is only permitted by MWR staff members in the Stations designated smoking areas at approved and appropriate times.
    Completes all required training and certifications in the allotted time given.

    Ability to safely operate a 22ft center console boat and obtain the FL safe boater card within 2 months of hiring.

    Must be able to communicate in English with effective oral and written skills.
    Supervisory or managerial experience in a quality hotel/motel, resort, campground or other like recreational program.
    Knowledge and skills proficient to operate, maintain and repair the MWR boats.
    Knowledgeable experience and skills in facility maintenance and repairs.
    Knowledgeable experience and skills related to financial operations. With the ability to prepare budgets and financial reports utilizing bookkeeping/ and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
