    Description

    Job Description:

    Provide microbiological support to enable timely product release.

    Perform QC analyses in accordance with USP methodology.

    Conduct testing such as:

    • Total Aerobic and Anaerobic Plate Counts
    • Total Yeast and mold counts
    • Pathogen screening
    • Antimicrobial effectiveness testing
    • Suitability testing
    • Gram staining

    Perform lab maintenance:

    • Media preparation
    • Growth promotional test
    • Stock culture maintenance
    • Basic housekeeping for micro lab

    Conduct procedural validation.

    Apply Good Laboratory Practice and data recording on all lab QC test related activities.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related discipline.

    1+ years of experience in Microbiology; will consider individuals with strong microbiology experience from undergraduate program.

    Familiarity with basic microbiology testing such as media preparation, plating, culture samples, etc.

    GMP experience and experience with USP methodology is a plus.

    Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)

    Must be a team player and able to work independently.

    Must be able to work weekends.
