    OverviewOur team is partnered with an established, global organization in the manufacturing & industrial space whose forward-looking company strategy has resulted in steady growth and created a need for the new position of Senior Manager - SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

    Responsibilities:


    Owns the preparation and review of external financial reporting, including overseeing preparation of Forms 10-Q & 10-K, including financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, statement of shareholders equity, and statement of cash flows), footnote disclosures, and MD&AEnsure compliance with SEC reporting rules and regulations through the accurate and timely filing of required documentsAssist to develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with internal controls related to global accounting policies and new accounting and reporting guidance issued by the FASB and the SECAssist in preparing senior management and audit committee communicationsReview Press Release financials, including GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliationsPerform the calculation of earnings per shareAssist with software implementation related to financial reportingContinuously strive to enhance and streamline reporting processes and controlsAssist management in other corporate areas such as financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, acquisition due diligence and purchase accountingReview contracts to ensure accurate application of ASC 606 revenue recognitionServe as key liaison to internal and external auditors during their quarterly reviews and annual financial statement and control auditsResearch technical accounting matters, monitor US GAAP and SEC developments, assist with the company-wide implementation of new accounting pronouncements and reporting requirements and provide ongoing peer benchmarking analysisProvide support for other key strategic projects as neededQualifications:Bachelors or Masters Degree in AccountingCPA required6+ years relevant experience, including experience (Big 4 or Mid-tier public accounting firm OR public company experience)Exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge and experience in US GAAP and SEC reportingExceptional technical accounting memo writing skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
