    POSITION SUMMARYThe Solutions Integration Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining CKE's Restaurant Technology interfaces by providing technical solutions to support business objectives and ongoing operations.

    In this role, you will utilize and communicate the technical components of initiatives to applicable parties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMay perform any or all of the following duties:

    Collaborates with cross functional teams (both business users and IT professionals) to help elaborate and define business requirements for any hardware and software integration activities.

    Develops technical design documents describing how restaurant technology components connect and work together.
    Provides technical expertise to all internal CKE teams.
    Works on developing cutting edge technology solutions.
    Troubleshoots, identifies and helps define solutions for performance issues with any existing systems.
    Designs, develops, and helps organize any integrations where multiple third parties will need to be engaged.
    Provides production support for existing systems and works on new development initiatives.
    Mentors engineers who are scripting install packages for deployment to hardware solutions.
    Develop integrations to new hardware platforms.
    Collaborates with third party vendors and operations teams to integrate new technology platforms in restaurants.
    Provides hardware and software expertise when negotiating new contracts with vendors.
    Participates in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
    Other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements.
    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIESA minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience designing and implementing hardware point-of-sale solutions.
    BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

    A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with back-of-house restaurant solutions involving both inventory and labor management solutions, as well as SQL skills to query, update or delete data.

    A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in a Microsoft environment and developing scripts to update remote environments.

    Knowledge of device driver updates, OS patching, and troubleshooting at the operating system level to determine issues with software and hardware connectivity using Kaseya.

    Ability to write and test installation or update scripts to install hardware/software solutions.
    Experience in the quick-service, casual, or fine-dining restaurant environments.
    Experience with installing/patching/maintaining Microsoft at an enterprise level.

    WORK ENVIRONMENTRestaurant Support Center that is a fast-paced, high volume of activity and a deadline-driven environment, as well as visiting the real estate, marketing planning, and construction sites.
