    Description
    Overview:

    Datawatch Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial building electronic access control, is seeking a lead technician to install and service our access control systems in commercial buildings in our DC region.

    Pay rate is $25/hour plus benefits and paid time off. Applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check. EOE/M/F/V/D. DCJS #11-2294

    Responsibilities:
    • Discuss projects with customers
    • Collaborate with internal departments to install access control systems
    • Assign responsibilities to technicians and ensure their work is completed according to protocol
    • Workin new construction or existing building to install low-voltage cabling
    Qualifications:
    • Have 1 to 2 years of experience installing access control and CCTV equipment
    • Have practical experience with building life safety systems, cable installation techniques, and access control components
    • HS diploma or equivalent
    • Able to work independently and on weekends, holidays, or extended hours if needed
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record
    • Experience with Northern and ADEMCO preferred
