Job description
A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the academic year in Devils Lake, North Dakota. This onsite position offers an engaging opportunity to support students in a dedicated educational setting.

The role involves collaborating with educators and specialists to provide comprehensive speech and language services, fostering students' communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support effective service delivery
Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

Valid North Dakota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from ASHA (Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred)
Experience working as a school-based SLP, with strong understanding of educational settings
Ability to manage an active caseload and deliver individualized therapy services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for children and adolescents


Location and Schedule:
Position is based onsite in Devils Lake, ND
Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Caseload details to be provided upon placement
