School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist near St. Louis, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting and positively impact the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to assess and address the unique needs of each student.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
Provide direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, in alignment with their educational goals
Modify classroom environments and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive technology as necessary to support students' participation and success in academic and social activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions.

Requirements:

Valid Occupational Therapist license
Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a positive impact in a school-based setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
Ability to adapt therapy techniques and approaches based on the unique needs and abilities of each student
