As an Edge Cloud engineer, you're eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client's needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities that can be deployed at austere environments at the edge.

Using your DevOpsplatform experience, you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
You'll work closely with cloud architects and engineers on exciting and innovative projects focused on deploying container platforms to various environments including physical servers, bare metal, and Edge Compute devices.
This role demands a skilled individual with a strong DevOps background, adept in container and AWS te chn ologies.Your primary responsibility will be to implement and maintain container platforms and create repeatable patterns for seamless deployment and robust performance.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues with CI / CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experience with developing, managing, and securing containers
Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Je nk ins, or Azure
Experience in working with application development teams across the
sof tware development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to display a collaborative mindset
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience with DevOps in lieu of a degree
Nice If
You Have:
Experience with deploying Kubernetes on small-scale devices, including Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson
Experience with AWS Snow family products
Experience with deploying Kubernetes to physical servers and bare metal environments.
Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple te chn ical stacks
Experience with creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
Experience with triaging and resolving issues
related
to both open source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments
Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python or Linux Shell Script
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
