Pharmacy Technician - Wakefield, United States - South County Hospital

Description

Candidates must be licensed through the Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician II. Prior experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred but not required.


1st and 2nd Shift ONLYResponsibilities:
Communicating well with pharmacy staff on pharmacy issues, and responds appropriately to problem situations.
Printing, filling and delivering the pyxis restock lists.
Filling and delivering patient specific orders.
Ordering medications and other supplies from vendors as needed.
Unit dose packing of medications.
Debiting and crediting medications on patient's accounts.
Compounding sterile intravenous medications.
