    New York Imaging     provides a comprehensive range of cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services from state-of-the-art modalities at various institutions. Our patient-oriented imaging centers aim to create a positive experience for all. Conveniently located throughout the five boroughs and extending to Nassau and Suffolk County, our team performs technological functions to ensure the optimal diagnostic quality of patient care, utilizing efficient and safe processes.

    In this role you will:
    • Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.
    • Assist with stereotactic biopsies
    • Monitor inventory levels and facilitate supply orders.
    • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, tact, and courtesy, while explaining procedures to patients to alleviate anxieties and encourage cooperation.
    • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Determine exposure factors based on height, weight, the portion of the body involved, and the degree of penetration required.
    • Adjust imaging equipment to ensure accurate and detailed images.
    • Process and review images for proper identification and quality control.
    • Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
    • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of procedures performed.
    • Provide orientation and training to new team members.
    • Perform additional duties as required.

    We require:
    • Licensed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • Minimum of three (3) years of continuous experience in Mammography
    • Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Good computer knowledge.
    • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish a plus.
    All openings are for daytime weekday hours.Salary is determined by one's level of experience up to $55/hr.
