    Job Title:
    CDL Driver (FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY)
    This position is part of the bargaining unit represented by Teamsters Local 1205. All employees in this role are required to join the union and pay dues as a condition of employment.

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL Driver to join our team.

    As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various destinations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

    This role requires a professional who is attentive to safety regulations, punctual, dependable, and possesses excellent driving skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate commercial vehicles including, but not limited to, tractortrailers and ensuring compliance with all state and federal traffic laws and regulations.
    • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
    • Accurately load, transport, and deliver goods to various locations, ensuring the safety and quality of the cargo during transit.
    • Maintain records of deliveries and accurately complete all necessary paperwork and logs.
    • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
    • Report any mechanical issues, delays, or accidents to the appropriate parties promptly.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • 2+ years of proven experience as a CDL Driver is preferred.
    • Indepth knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.
    • Ability to handle cargo safely and efficiently.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
    • Capability to lift and move heavy packages and products up to 50 lbs.
    • Good physical condition to manage the demands of long driving hours and load handling.

    Working Conditions:

    • Frequent travel and overnight stays may be required depending on routes.
    • Adverse weather conditions may be encountered.
