    Description


    Meta is currently seeking a Contract Manufacturing Manager that will lead and be responsible for the business relationship with our CM/ODM partners to build our innovative AR/VR products.

    In this role, you will lead the cross-functional efforts to identify, engage and enable the best partner for our consumer hardware business.

    You will be responsible for developing the strategic relationship with our partners, including negotiating commercial agreements, negotiating cost associated with NPI builds and OpEx in mass production, optimizing the collaboration between the teams and developing long term strategy to grow a robust partnership.

    You will work closely with Hardware engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain Strategy and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and innovative supply chain.

    Contract Manufacturing Manager ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage the CM/JDM/ODM partners to enable the cutting-edge technologies and products with best-in-class quality, delivery and cost.

    Lead new product RFP/RFQ and business award process.

    Develop, sustain and grow a meaningful relationship with our partners to influence their strategy, ensuring best support to our product and advanced technology development.

    Negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirements (including MVA, NRE & CapEx).Manage budget process for Opex and CapEx with cross-function team and various levels of management, reporting spend vs actual.

    Lead and manage cost optimization opportunities with partner and internal cross-functional teams.
    Lead quarterly business supplier and supplier executive reviews, follow through with subsequent improvement actions plans.

    Collaborate with RL Supply Strategy team to develop our CM supplier and second source strategies (including EMS industry, global business climate and competitive landscape).Develop relationships with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage our partners capability to grow our business.

    Manage escalations from the teams and address the concerns with the partner to drive short-term and long-term improvement actions.
    Candidate should have the technical acumen to drive new product constructs.

    Minimum Qualifications5+ years' experience of progressive Supply Chain experience with primary focus on Contract Manufacturing in the high-volume hardware manufacturing.5+ years experience managing Asia supply base.

    Experience building Supplier Relationships.
    Proven background in supplier/evaluation/selection, predictive cost models, contract negotiations and supply base management.
    Experience communicating and influencing all levels of management.
    Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    Experience working in and management high volume, consumer electronic product launches and delivery.
    BS degree in a related engineer discipline or equivalent experience.
    Preferred QualificationsBroad experience in factory operations, quality, hardware and electrical engineering, product safety and compliance, logistics and trade compliance.
    Experience navigating through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple work threads to maximize impact.
    Master degree in a related engineering discipline or MBA.
