Job summary
The Drill & Tap Technician supports fabrication operations by accurately drilling and tapping holes in structural steel and miscellaneous steel components according to shop drawings, work orders, and supervisor instructions.This role is hands-on and production-focused, requiring attention to detail, safe machine operation, and the ability to work efficiently in an industrial shop environment.
- Basic experience working in a fabrication or industrial shop environment
- Ability to safely operate drill presses,mag drills,and hand tools
- Ability to learn drilling and tapping principles
- Familiarity with AISC fabrication standards
