    They are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Surgical Services to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of surgical services within our healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and the efficient operation of our surgical department.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide strategic leadership and direction for the surgical services department, including operating rooms, pre-operative, post-operative, and sterile processing areas.

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

    Manage the recruitment, retention, and development of surgical staff, including surgeons, nurses, technicians, and support personnel.
    Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    Monitor and evaluate the quality and outcomes of surgical services, implementing initiatives for continuous improvement and patient satisfaction.

    Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism within the surgical services department, promoting open communication and collaboration among staff members.

    Serve as a liaison between the surgical services department and other departments within the organization, fostering positive relationships and effective coordination of care.

    Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.

    Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in surgical services, participating in professional development activities and continuing education.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in surgical services within a healthcare setting.
    Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to surgical services, such as Joint Commission and CMS.
    Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
    Proven track record of success in improving clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction within surgical services.
    Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    Proficiency in computer applications and healthcare information systems utilized in surgical services management.
