Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Courier to join our team. As a Courier, you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional pickup of specimens. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of customer service while efficiently managing route driving and load handling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, picking up medical specimens with enthusiasm and precision.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver specimens across designated routes.
- Load and unload while ensuring secure handling of specimens.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after routes to guarantee safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Navigate efficiently through assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for all route stops processed during each shift.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate and resolve issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and endurance over short periods.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and best practices for driving heavy vehicles with manual transmissions.
