Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall flow of food service operations. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a sanitized and organized workspace
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items according to safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines
- Support catering and banquet setups by preparing serving stations and assisting with event logistics
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of basic food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork skills
- Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a lively team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
