- You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
- You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Note: This position is for the Research Medical Center Brookside Campus.
- Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
- On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital. Our hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services. This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center, a walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations. Our specialty care areas include a Chest Pain Center, Level I Trauma Center, Breast Care Center, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Programs, and Primary Stroke Center. Research Psychiatric Center is a 95+ bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
