Job Title: Senior Transportation Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Transportation Officer to join our team. As the industry's global leader in evidence-based rehabilitation, we provide top-notch rehabilitation and community reintegration programs and services.

Responsibilities:

Transport detainees between destinations safely and efficiently.
Maintain vehicles used for transportation activities, ensuring they are safe and properly maintained.
Review vehicle inspection reports, develop summaries for Transportation management, and ensure all necessary safety equipment is on board before initiating a trip.
Properly track DOT HOS on Electronic Logging Devices and participate in interviewing and screening of applicant Transport Officers.
Review all necessary paperwork, ensure that all reports are turned into the Transportation management according to described policies and procedures.
Evaluate missions to meet or exceed PBNDS/FBNDS safety measures while transporting detainees.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
A valid Class B or Class C Chauffeurs Drivers License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement within 90 days of appointment.
Ninety hours of verified and certified drivers training from an approved company trainer and as defined by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
State Firearms License and State Security Guard License.
Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
A current drivers license with no preventable accidents, suspensions for driving convictions, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or more than two (2) moving violations on any type of vehicle for the past three (3) years.
Passing a company and Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol test.
Ability to work overtime frequently and extended periods of time with frequent overnight stays.
Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours.

The estimated salary for this position is $67,127 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming an hourly wage of $32.49/hour.
