- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist, producing accurate radiologic films that support timely physician diagnosis and exceptional patient care for pediatric patients.
- Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care to pediatric patients by preparing, positioning, and monitoring children throughout imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and clinical safety.
- Administer contrast media within scope of practice and closely monitor pediatric patient responses, promptly reporting abnormal findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and quality improvement standards to minimize exposure for children, maintain equipment performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely upload of pediatric diagnostic images to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) to strengthen care coordination and continuity of care.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
