    Shield HealthCare is looking for a

    Managed Care Analyst

    to support business operations through the development and preparation of key data and financial analysis. Creates analytical models to better understand growth opportunities and trends. Works with business partners to support long term profitable growth.
    This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Research and analyze contracts for profitable geographic or product line growth opportunities
    Create advanced financial models for various business scenarios and provide key insights to stakeholders
    Monitor performance of existing book of business by insurance carrier and provide recommendations to management
    Partner with internal departments to understand impact of new business to existing processes
    Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner both written and/or verbally
    Update and maintain monthly financial and operational reports
    Assist with the Request For Proposal (RFP) process
    Handle multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines and ensure appropriate follow-up and closure
    Participate in assessment of acquisition opportunities
    Develop and prepare management reports that highlight operational results and trends
    Prepare multiple ad-hoc analyses as requested

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    BS in in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
    3-5 years experience in data analysis, financial modeling and reporting
    Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, IF statements and Lookup functions
    Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with internal operational teams
    Proven ability to communicate results of analysis to non-financial staff with great impact
    Healthcare industry experience preferred

    SALARY & BENEFITS:
    $70,000-90,000 annually
