Description
Our client in Plymouth Meeting is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team.
This is a Direct Hire/Full Time (8am-5pm) in office position that offers a salary up to 95k+ with EXCELLENT BENEFITS.

Duties/Responsibilities:
" Prepares business activity reports and financial statements of assigned funds that are accurate, complete, and timely.
" Coordinates with auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
" Drive process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies and reduce timeframes for accounting department deliverables.
" Streamline and improve existing processes and controls.
" Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations.
" Monitor cash and funding balances.
" Partner with other teams/departments on special projects and ad hoc requests
" Review and file taxes as required.
" Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
" Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization.
" Strong problem solving and analytical skills, takes initiative to identify and resolve issues; gathers and synthesizes information skillfully.
" Able to proactively prioritize, organize, and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines with professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy.
" Sound and accurate judgment; includes appropriate people in decision-making process and takes responsibility for own actions.
" Proficient in QuickBooks or similar software.
" Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.
" 5+ years or more of related experience required.
